If someone told me years ago we would be one of the most sought out vocal specialists in singing lessons/vocal training industry, I would have not believed it. If someone told me years ago we’d be conducting rehearsals for a musical I wrote, I would have cherished the thought. But if someone would have told me that I would have a cast that resides in PA, NYC, Long Island NY and NJ, I would have said no way or better yet, conduct our rehearsals ONLINE for those that are not in PA, I would have said, I can’t wait.
Well, that is exactly what we here at Vocal Production Studios are doing. We have an amazing cast from PA, NYC, Long Island NY, and NJ for our upcoming production of “A Christmas Carol” A New Musical with a twist. It certainly has been the adventure so far with conducting rehearsals in person with the PA cast and online with the cast from abroad. We are all enjoying the process especially those enjoying it from the comfort of their own homes. Who would have thunk it?
What we have found so far is just how wonderful it is being a part of a production that knows no boundaries in crossing state lines. In fact, just last weekend, we met the NYC, Long Island NY, and NJ cast in person for the first time. AMAZING! We know, it as been said before, but they are a wonderful talented cast with huge hearts. Besides, this show is always destined to make the heart grow and we look forward to those moments in the coming weeks.
We love a fearless cast, and that is exactly what they are, fearless. Why? I am glad you asked, because there could always be the sense of uncertainty when proclaiming that we will be conducting rehearsals via ONLINE. Let us add, they all received it well and were ready for the challenge.
You are all in for an amazing show, where Off-Broadway is making it’s way to Lancaster, PA, at the Junction Center Landis Hall. Our Christmas Carol is a show with a twist, set in modern-day, and has a boat load of surprises waiting for you. Daniel Orama, Co-Founder of Vocal Production Studios is a highly recognized voice instructor, composer, and producer.
